Widespread Panic to Release New Album

Georgia's own Widespread Panic has announced plans to release a new album in early 2008. Entitled, "Free Somehow", the new album features eleven fresh tracks, many of which have yet to be played live. Two of the new tunes, "Flicker", and "Up All Night", can be heard now by visiting Widespread Panic's website.

This album is the band's first full length studio effort featuring lead guitarist Jimmy Herring. The gentlemen of Panic headed once again to Compass Studios to record the new album with producer Terry Manning, who not only produced the band's last studio album, but also provided vocals and a bit of work on the keys for "Earth To America". "Free Somehow" is expected to hit the street on January 29th, 2008 (MoBoogie will let you know if the date changes) and will be available in stores and online.
