Infinite Music Productions and Abstract Earth present the Fourth Annual Tucson Gem & Jam

Get ready for a two day event integrating music, art, dance, gems, minerals and sustainability.

All the festivities take place February 8th and 9th at The Hut (305 4th Ave., Tucson, AZ) with an outdoor and indoor stage, as well as its own gem and mineral showcase. There are about 20 bands joining the Gem & Jam line up this year. Prepare to be hit by some high energy electronic, breakbeating, crunk and funk. Bassnectar, Pnuma Trio, Glitch Mob and DJ Vadmin are the headliners so get prepared for a raging dance floor and sounds from another world!!

We all know sustainability is a hot topic and the Gem & Jam promises to be 100% Carbon Neutral. This means that the event will offset all the CO2 emissions going into the production of the event...stage/sound needs, flights/travel, electricity, etc. There will also be a series of educational workshops, biodegradable and compostable cups and food-ware and even solar generators.

The event coincides with the Tucson International Gem and Mineral Expo, which is the largest and most popular independent jewelry trade show in the Tucson area. The Expo attracts over 27,000 attendants, 4000 of them are jewelry store owners. This is a cash and carry show, meaning buyers are able to purchase jewelry, gems and minerals right on the floor. They are expecting 800 booths this year.
