McDowell Mountain Music Festival, April 25th and 26th!

Arizona's biggest music festival is back for its 5th year in 2008! The dates have been announced and the line up is coming together nicely. MMMF is a non-profit entity that gives back to local charities based on ticket sales and their mission is to integrate and support the community, the arts and the underprivileged.

Approximately 8000 fans attended the two-day festival in 2007 at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. Audiences grooved to the sounds of Bob Weir and Ratdog, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Railroad Earth and Tea Leaf Green along with many other local and national acts. For those of you there, there was also a 60 mile an hour dust storm that did not scare anyone away!

This year, the line up is coming together like a dream. JJ Grey and Mofro, the John Butler Trio, The Wailers, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, The Subdudes, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals have already signed on. There will be a total of 13 bands so keep checking back because it just keeps getting better and better.

Tickets are already on sale for only $65 for a two day pass and $150 for VIP passes. These prices go up on February 5th, so get 'em while you can at the official website! There is tent and RV camping along with restroom and shower facilities.

"These are the bands that make true music, true to their roots, that often don't make it on the corporate radio scene. This is our gift to the community, giving this forum to move and groove and make it your own in the wide open spaces against the backdrop of the McDowell Mountains." This is the MMMF Vision...come and see for yourself!
